First Epic Fail

Today was a really rocky day and my mind was not on my recipe.  Getting a distress text from your college daughter at 4:00 a.m. is no fun.  She’s okay (I hope)  drama, you know.

I was trying to make slow cooked Sirloin Steaks, but it turned out EXTREMELY salty, and a bit dry.  I will share a photo without the recipe until I can refine it.

I heard that if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.  So onward folks.  If anyone knows how to decrease the saltiness in a dish, do tell.

Looks better than it tastes (LOL)

Anyway, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.  I wish I had a cookie!  But I’ll settle for a nice cup of java.

My saving grace

This cup is going to be a great way to curl up on the couch, next to the hubby, and yes, watch American Idol.

Ready to Face the Music.

Goodnight moon.

Try the Miss Meringue, fat free minis, meringue cookies at Safeway. You can have 13 of them for only 3 points. They would go great with your coffees and satisfy that cookie craving. I usually have 4 for one point….

Really. I am going to look for them this weekend when I go grocery shopping. Yum. Thanks for the tip. I miss you. Let’s plan lunch in the next couple of weeks. I work from home 3 – 4 days a week now.
