Yogurt Marinated Beef Kebobs

You know how much I love cooking with FAGE yogurt.  I wanted to try marinating beef in yogurt to see how they would taste.  Here are my results.

Beef Kebobs

  • 1/2 cup Fage Total 0% yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1  pound boneless beef sirloin, fat trimmed, cut into  cubes
  • red, yellow and green bell peppers, cut into  squares.

In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, soy sauce, lemon juice, cilantro, and pepper. Add the beef, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Preheat oven to 400

In a baking sheet, spray with non stick spray. Thread the beef onto skewers, alternating with the bell peppers. Place the skewers on baking sheet, turning to brown all sides about 12 to 15 minutes.

The beef had a nice sweet taste and they were so tender.  Even the twins liked it.

Happy Friday evening to everyone.  You guessed right if you thought the hubby and I are having Friday night at the Movies in the Family room.

Tonight’s feature presentation brought to us by Netflix, is The King’s Speech.
