I am always looking for a nice refreshing dessert that is healthy. The best way to do that is by using fresh raw fruits. Here I combined Nilla wafers to replace the layer of sponge cake in a traditional trifle.
Individual Black and Blueberry Trifle
3 PP per serving
- 1/3 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cup or more fresh blackberries
- 4 1/2 tablespoons Fage 0% Total yogurt
- 4 Nilla Wafers
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Toss black and, blue berries and brown sugar in a medium bowl.
Layer 2 nilla wafers, a layer of fruit mixture and 2 tablespoons yogurt in a 6 to 8 oz tumbler or similar-size glasses. Repeat with another layer of nilla wafers, fruit and yogurt. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 1 day.
For additional PP top each serving with 1 teaspoon almonds just before serving.
