Happy Wednesday peeps. Guess what? I got a new hair do today. I love it. Still getting used to it, but I love it. To celebrate the new do. I decided to make something finger licking good. This great chicken recipe is one that everyone will love. Especially your kids.
Honey Chicken Fingers
5 PP per serving
- 12 oz, boneless chicken breasts tenders
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoons apricot preserves or jam
- 4 tablespoons raw sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place sesame seeds in a frying pan over medium heat and toast for 3 to 5 minutes or until seeds are golden brown.
In a small bowl, combine honey and apricot preserves. Stir to combine. Brush honey mixture on both sides of chicken strips, dredge in bread crumbs and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Line coated chicken on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 12 to 15 minutes on each side until slightly browned.
Who do you think will the Next American Idol? Scotty or Lauren? I love them both, so whoever gets the title will be fine with me.
