Easy cheesy pinwheel snacks

These fun little appetizers are low in PP but are packed with flavor.  Surprise your guests with these tasty treats at your next party.

Makes 16 pinwheels

1 PP per pinwheel



  • 1 package reduced fat crescent rolls
  • 4 tablespoons Hormel bacon bits
  • 4 Laughing Cow or Weight Watchers brand wedges
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions


Heat oven to 350°

Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Unroll dough into 4 rectangles, firmly pressing perforations to seal. Spread cheese wedge over rectangle. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon Hormel bacon bits, and onions.


Roll up the rectangle.


With serrated knife, cut into slices; place cut side down on cookie sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.


Serve warm


You can literally use any toppings you want. Try pepperoni and pizza sauce Or Ham and Laughing Cow.  What toppings would you use?

  1. OOOOOOOOOOOH that looks so good! But the first picture made me laugh.. “What? You bake them with the foil wrappers ON?!?” Haha. Yum.
